Been doing some reading on Strobist again and found some interesting stuff on balancing the harsh sunlight with flash to get an interesting look when out in broad daylight. Here are some of the results:
Nikon D3000, YN560 camera right on a stand, no modifiers, sunlight from behind camera left.
Nikon D3000, Nikkor 35mm F1.8, YN560 on a stand cam left, sunlight camera right.
Same set-up as above.
I love how the colours come to life when using flash like this.
